
HSE GSB's Project Management Course Receives International Accreditation
The HSE Graduate School of Business has been accredited to offer the Project Management course in accordance with the international standard IPMA ICB 4.0. This accreditation confirms that the course meets international standards for content, teacher qualifications, and teaching materials. These standards are recognised in over 70 countries, including the USA, China, India, Germany, the UK, and France.

HSE and Communication University of Zhejiang Strengthen Partnership in Creative Education
On July 7, 2025, HSE University hosted a delegation from China at the historic Durasov House. The delegation, led by Wei Guotan, Chair of the University Council of Communication University of Zhejiang (CUZ), was welcomed by HSE Vice Rector Dmitry Zemtsov, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Creative Industries Tatiana Rivchun, and representatives of the HSE Institute for Creative Industries Development and the HSE Art and Design School—the initiators of the partnership with their Chinese colleagues.

The International Summer Institute on AI in Education has opened in Shanghai. The event is organised by the HSE Institute of Education in partnership with East China Normal University (ECNU). More than 50 participants and key speakers from over ten countries across Asia, Europe, North and South America have gathered to discuss the use of AI technologies in education and beyond.

‘A Story about the Arctic’: New Photo Exhibition at HSE University
The opening of the ‘Khatanga. Heritage’ exhibition took place in the atrium of the HSE building on Pokrovsky Bulvar. The event was organised with the support of the Russian Geographical Society (RGS). The educational project features photo materials with interactive tours, as well as a series of videos and a podcast that draw attention to the cultural and environmental aspects of the region.

HSE University has hosted the Career Gambit student festival organised by the HSE Chess Club. The festival offered a unique platform for dialogue between students and prospective employers. Participants not only enthusiastically developed their game strategies but also engaged in discussions about careers and real employment opportunities. It turned out that playing chess is not just an intellectual competition but also an opportunity to connect, network, discuss professional interests, and explore future collaboration from a fresh perspective.

‘Such Events Make You Feel at Home’: HSE University Holds Day of Azerbaijani Culture
At the end of May, the HSE University Cultural Centre hosted the Day of Azerbaijani Culture, organised by the Azerbaijani Student Club. Festival guests sampled national treats, took part in a quiz with prizes, and immersed themselves in the festive atmosphere of a concert with music and traditional dancing. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Russian Federation Rahman Sahib oglu Mustafayev was the event’s special guest.

HSE Students of Asian and African Studies Accompany Foreign Delegations at the Anniversary Victory Day Parade
In early May 2025, official delegations from across the globe arrived in Moscow to celebrate the anniversary of Victory Day. Volunteers were enlisted to welcome and accompany these distinguished guests. Among the volunteers were students from the bachelor’s programme in Asian and African Studies at the HSE Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs (WEIA): Natalya Kulakova (third-year student), Polina Slobodenko (first-year student), and Anton Klyuev, a 2024 graduate of the same programme and Visiting Lecturer at HSE’s School of Asian Studies.

HSE Business Club in China: Student Entrepreneurs Travel to the Economic Hub of Asia
HSE Business Club organised a unique trip to China for the Russian student entrepreneurial community. As part of their business mission, participants held a series of meetings with representatives from leading universities, entrepreneurs, and top managers of both national and international companies. They explored the specific features of the Chinese business landscape and gained valuable insights into the workings of one of the world's key economic centres.
